World Food Prize Foundation Top Agri-food Pioneers 2025

In Spring of 2024, the World Food Prize Foundation opened submissions for Top Agri-food Pioneers (TAP), a new initiative by the Foundation. The 2024 list featured 38 leading innovators. In 2025, 39 innovators from across the world working to transform food systems will be recognized in honor of the Foundation’s 39th anniversary.

The TAP list recognizes pioneers of all ages, backgrounds, and careers in food and agriculture. The 2024 cohort marked the inaugural group, setting the stage for future innovators. In 2025, a new group of recipients will expand this network, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across food systems. These trailblazers will play a vital role in shaping sustainable solutions and advancing agricultural progress. As part of their recognition, they will be featured at the 2025 Borlaug Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, where they will engage with global leaders to drive meaningful change. TAP aims to connect forward-thinking individuals who are transforming food and agriculture, ensuring a resilient future. Through this initiative, honorees gain visibility, share ideas, and contribute to a thriving, innovative food system. The TAP list continues to grow, inspiring the next generation of leaders committed to food security and sustainability.
